So, what is in this Archives Section?

Old stuff. Stuff that may be obsolete, or at least is seriously out of date. Time does not stand still. The FAQ did stand still for a couple of years. There is still a lot of good information in the FAQ, but times have changed. Hardware and software have changed. Our interests may even have changed. There may be value in some old sections of the FAQ. If nothing else, we may come back and point and laugh at what used to be the state of the art.
